1983 - Push-button telephone danMark 2

danMark 2, that is the name of this telephone, was introduced in 1983 and represented the most advanced technique for the telephone sets in the eighties.

It was developed in a co-operation between Copenhagen Telephone Company Ltd. (KTAS) and the telephone factory GN-Telematic (GNT) and has a microchip that controls all the functions in the set.

danMark 2 was the first telephone to introduce several facilities, for example memory of the last called telephone number, call maker, display, repeat-call, monitoring function and a tone ringer that can call in 24 different ways. Functions that most of the modern telephone have today.
