1970 - Push-button telephone F-68

In the picture you can see one of the first push-button telephones used in Denmark.

The model was made in Sweden in the beginning of the sixties and it was first fitted with a dial. (See the previous picture)

In the start of the seventies the telephone companies began modernising the telephone exchanges, so that it was possible to use tone push-button telephones. This set was brought up to date by replacing the dial with a push-button. Notice the order of the keys where "1", "2" and "3" are placed in the top row. This corresponds to the international standard. Later on Denmark has deviated from this standard as one of few countries and is now using a number order similar to the one on calculators, that means "7", "8" and "9" at the top on telephones manufactured in Denmark.

However, as a push-button telephone this model was never very popular, as newer types were already in the pipeline.
