1952 - Automatic set F-52

In the picture you can see a very popular phone from the post-war period. The set was introduced in 1952.

Many probably remember this telephone all too well and there are still quite a few of them in service in the former KTAS area.

In the standard version the phone was black and made of bakelite, but you could also get it in ivory and later in grey plastic as the one in the picture. Notice the curled cord, that was something new you had to pay extra for at that time. The set is manufactured by Telefon Fabrik Automatic in Copenhagen.
