1912 - Office Line Selector set

1912 - Office Line Selector set

When opening a new Main Exchange in Copenhagen in 1910, Copenhagen Telephone Company Ltd. (KTAS) needed several new types of switchboards, as it was mainly business subscribers who were connected up with the new exchange.

In the picture you can see a so-called office line selector set from 1912, that was a part of a system of up to 17 similar telephones. From each set you could call the exchange or you could call the other sets.

Later sets of this type were updated with dials and were used for more than 60 years.

The office line selector set is manufactured by Telefon Fabrik Automatic in Copenhagen.
