1907 - CB-set "German model"

1907 - CB-set

At the opening in 1907 of a new exchange ØBRO in Copenhagen a new telephone system was introduced.

As you can see in the picture the telephone sets no longer had a crank but a push-button to call the exchange.

On the face of it this looked as an improvement. However, it gave cause for a certain dissatisfaction at many subscribers who thought that they could no longer work off their aggressions regarding waiting time.
