1904 - CB-set "The Spider"

L. M. Ericsson's first CB-telephone sets.
On the Central Battery generation of telephone sets the crank disappeared. Now the lines were with permanent voltage and the telephones was powered from the battery of the exchange - therefore they are called CB-sets. When the bell and telephone circuit were placed in a box on the wall, the table set could be made smaller and lighter.
In 1907 KTAS purchased a few 1904 - CB-sets for testing on the new ØBRO CB-exchange. Very soon to they were replaced by German and later Danish manufactured telephones.
