1900 - Line Selector Set

The picture shows a so-called 20-lines selector set. It was used as inter-office telephone system in many companies but also to some extent in large establishments.

At the start of the century the telephone companies installed and maintained many of these sets. Inter-office telephone systems did not have any connection with the public telephone network.

The line selector set is manufactured in Sweden by L. M. Ericsson.
